Boost Solutions took George's yellow 1990 TT to the dyno saturday for a comparison of of ECU chips by JWT, Z1/ASHspec, and Boost Solutions new ECU that will be released in two weeks. Price will be at a competitive price =). Mods: JSPEC motor, JWT Intake, Greddy spec II Boost Controller at 15psi, ECU, and HKS Hi Power catback exhaust. Cats and Precats haven't been gutted and main cats are clogged. To our knowledge this is the first off the road comparison of all the major chips at one time. The dyno runs are nonbias with no timing or any other type of tuning(no S-AFC or AFR controllers). The car was driving from the highway straight to the dyno and strapped up, no cooling time was allowed. Boost Solutions was first, then Z1 followed by JWT. The dyno sheets will be available tuesday from Balanced Performance in Suwanee GA. Ok after all this the numbers are as follows. JWT: 333whp, 342.8wtrq Z1: 336.1whp, 347.7wtrq Boost Solutions: 348.5whp, 354.7wtrq Look for more dyno comparisons in the very near future as Boost Solutions is expanding rapidly...:-)
